NHS GP Practice Nurse Vacancy

St Paul’s Surgery are recruiting for a conscientious Practice Nurse. Whether that be a newly qualified or a vastly experienced clinician. Extensive training will be provided.

18 - 24 hours per week (applicants’ choice) over 3 days

£42,033 to £46,412 FTE + NHS Pension - based on experience

The role could include long term condition reviews (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, CKD, CHD, Stroke management), Wound care, Cervical Screening, Pill checks, Travel and Child Immunisations. Proactive housebound home visits are also part of the job description.

Experience in any of these areas would be an advantage but is not essential as internal/external training will be provided. Funding is available for further education.

St Paul’s Surgery is a large practice which cares for 24,500 Winchester patients. The practice is highly reputable in the eyes of patients, staff and commissioners. We have a large diverse workforce of 19 GPs, 3 ANPs, 4 PNs, 3 HCAs along with PCN Pharmacists, MSK Physios, Mental Health Practitioners, Social prescribers. We work from modern purpose-built air conditioned premises and invest in state-of-the-art medical equipment and technology.
