Job overview

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an EPR Project Administrator to join the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme , one of the Trust's largest and most complex digital transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of a programme that will transform the way care is delivered across the Trust.

The EPR Project Administrator will provide comprehensive programme management office (PMO) and project administration support across multiple EPR workstreams. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating governance activities, maintaining project documentation, monitoring programme progress, and supporting programme reporting to ensure effective delivery of programme objectives.

You will join our EPR Programme Team at a pivotal time of digital transformation. The team has a strong track record of delivering large-scale transformation programmes and has recently received national recognition through nominations at the HSJ Digital Awards and Lean Competency System Awards. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a programme that will have a lasting impact on staff and patient experience.

About the role

As the EPR Project Administrator, you will provide structured programme support within a fast-paced, multi-site digital transformation environment. You will work closely with the EPR Customer Participation Lead, Programme Manager, Project Managers and wider EPR Programme Team to ensure programme governance, reporting and project controls are effectively managed.

You will coordinate meetings, manage programme documentation, maintain risk, issue and action logs, monitor project progress and support the production of reports, presentations and programme updates for a range of governance groups and stakeholders. You will also support programme communications, engagement activities and workshops, helping to ensure that workstreams remain aligned and programme milestones are achieved.

This role provides an opportunity to work at the centre of a major digital transformation programme, engaging with senior leaders, clinical teams, operational services and digital colleagues across the Trust.

Working for our organisation

At UHSussex, diversity is our strength, and we want you to feel included to help us always deliver Excellent Care Everywhere, as shown in our Outstanding for Caring CQC rating. Your uniqueness and experiences will be part of our creative and innovative community where everyone is encouraged to succeed. We have a range of staff networks to help break down barriers, and can offer a buddy to help new members settle in. We’re proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 3) and a Veteran Aware Trust.

Candidate Pack

Please note that if you currently work for another NHS Trust or UHSussex and you are applying to accept this position as a secondment opportunity, before applying you must seek agreement and authorisation from your current Trust/Manager. Secondments can’t be agreed without this approval. If you are unable to gain approval, you should refrain from applying unless you wish to take this role as a fixed term position.

Please note: This role does not meet the minimum criteria for visa sponsorship under the current UK immigration rules, which set specific salary and skill thresholds. As such, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this post. Applicants will therefore need to already have the right to work in the UK to be considered. We include this information at the outset to provide clarity and avoid unnecessary inconvenience for applicants.

If you do not meet the sponsorship requirements, and you are applying using a Graduate visa as your right to work, you must have a minimum of 18 months remaining on your visa at time of application.
