To provide early intervention support to schools, assisting children, young people (CYP), and families by delivering packages of care under the direction of a named registered supervisor in the home and community settings, including, for example, Children's Centres, schools, colleges, and other allocated young people-friendly buildings.
To carry out group work activities, health promotion, and health education programmes as delegated by the registered supervisor.
To contribute to child protection case conferences, care groups, and case review meetings under the supervision of the registered supervisor.
To support the registered supervisor in the delivery of prevention and early intervention support.
We welcome applications from Allied Health Professionals with relevant experience and transferable skills.
Thee successful AHP applicant will have access to continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities and professional networks to support ongoing professional development and professional registration requirements.
The Assistant Practitioner works directly with patients, careers, and families to promote emotional wellbeing by undertaking delegated activities of intervention. The Assistant Practitioner will visit family homes and see clients in schools to advise and support. They will also work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team to support those with more complex needs.
