Castle Green Hotel, Kendal

The Castle Green Hotel is a four-star, 99-bedroom hotel with restaurant, bar, conference facilities, banqueting suites, pub, leisure club and treatment rooms set in a stunning location on the edge of the Lake District.
We pride ourselves on delivering friendly, professional service and creating a welcoming environment for both guests and our team.
With Christmas and New Year nearly upon us we are looking for event staff to work on Fridays and Saturdays during December at an enhanced rate of £13.50 per hour (after 6pm). Applicants must be 18 or over.

About the Role
To assist in delivering exceptional Food & Beverage service to our guests in all areas of the hotel including working in our Restaurant and Pub and across Events, Conference & Banqueting. All service must be provided in a friendly, helpful, efficient and professional manner.

Hours & Pay:

  • Contract: Casual
  • Hours: Predominantly Fridays and Saturdays
  • Pay per hour: £10.85 (18-20), £12.71 (21+).
  • £13.50 per hour for banqueting bar shifts after 6pm.

Please note: live-in accommodation is not available at the hotel.

What You'll be doing

  • Welcoming guests and providing friendly, professional service
  • Taking food and drink orders and serving efficiently
  • Supporting service in restaurant, bar, and events
  • Preparing and setting up dining and event areas
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of service areas
  • Handling payments and following payment handling procedures
  • Working closely with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service
