Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to provide nutritious food for children aged 0-5 years. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and kitchen operations. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while managing kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead kitchen to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
  • Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required.
  • Manage dietary requirements and allergies safely
  • Have knowledge on the requirements of food preparation and safety for children under 5 years

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficient in culinary techniques with a passion for cooking and food presentation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in food production processes to maintain quality standards.

Working Hours - 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
