Junior Graphic Designer

Salary: £26,000–£28,000, depending on experience
Location: Belfast, BT3 9AD

We’re hiring

We’re looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious designer who wants to develop their craft, work across a wide variety of brands and learn from an experienced creative team. You’ll help create thoughtful, standout design across brand identities, campaigns, websites, social media and physical touchpoints.

You’ll have strong design fundamentals, plenty of ideas and a portfolio that shows creativity, attention to detail and real potential.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the creative team in developing brand identities and visual concepts
  • Creating engaging designs for social media, digital campaigns and marketing materials
  • Producing artwork across brand, web, print, packaging, presentations and out-of-home advertising
  • Working within established brand guidelines while bringing fresh ideas to the table
  • Preparing accurate, production-ready artwork for digital and print
  • Collaborating with designers, strategists, developers and marketers
  • Responding positively to feedback and developing creative work through each stage
  • Helping the team deliver consistently high-quality work across multiple client accounts
  • Keeping up to date with design trends, creative tools and emerging technology
  • Taking ownership of deadlines and managing your workload effectively

About you

  • A relevant degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline is preferred
  • Some professional experience within an agency, studio or in-house creative team would be beneficial
  • Recent graduates with an excellent portfolio are also encouraged to apply
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating good typography, layout, branding and visual thinking
  • A solid understanding of design principles and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • An interest in motion, animation or After Effects would be a bonus
  • Comfortable working across several projects and responding to changing priorities
  • Open to feedback and keen to learn from more experienced team members
  • Able to communicate ideas clearly and contribute confidently to creative discussions
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
