Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that enhance the durability and aesthetic appeal of buildings and structures. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe, attractive, and long-lasting environments. Duties

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, or removing old paint to ensure proper adhesion of new coatings
  • Mix paints, stains, or primers according to specifications to achieve desired colors and finishes
  • Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools with precision and efficiency
  • Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered
  • Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring smooth finishes without drips or imperfections
  • Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition for optimal performance throughout projects

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction painting or related fields demonstrating strong technical skills
  • Ability to operate driving vehicles such as trucks or vans for transporting supplies and equipment to job sites
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear understanding of instructions and collaboration with team members
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and proper handling of paints, chemicals, and tools
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes that meet project specifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred but not mandatory
