Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Your skills will help create inviting, professional, and visually appealing spaces that meet client specifications and safety standards. Duties

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other tools with precision and care.
  • Follow detailed project plans and specifications to achieve desired design outcomes.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to clarify project requirements and provide updates on progress.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards throughout each phase of the decorating process.
  • Assist with the transportation of materials and equipment as needed, utilizing driving skills when required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Ability to operate various painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Valid driving license with reliable transportation to travel between job sites as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction painting and decorating environments.
  • Basic understanding of building materials, surface preparation techniques, and decorative finishes.
