Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating work. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as necessary.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are safe to use.
  • Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Skills

  • Proficient in painting techniques and knowledge of various materials used in decorating.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Valid driving licence to travel between job sites as needed.
  • Ability to speak English fluently for clear communication with clients and colleagues.
