Our innovative products serve a broad global customer base across various sectors, including public safety, transportation, utilities, and construction. The Role

The Cable Harness & Helical Assembly Team Leader will be based in our Wandsworth Facility and report to the Production Manager. The role will be managing a small team of experienced assembly operators to meet the daily output demands set by the Planning department. Support resources to be drawn upon are on site from the Quality department.

Job responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, motivate and manage a team to achieve optimal performance

  • Quality Control:

Ensuring high standards of quality and safety are consistently met, including compliance with ISO standards

  • Operational Efficiency:

Overseeing daily operations and ensuring output targets are efficiently achieved

  • Training and Development:

Providing ongoing training and development opportunities to team members

  • Problem-Solving:

The ability to trouble-shoot problems on the assembly line and implementing solutions & recommendations quickly

  • Communication Skills:

Clearly conveying instructions, providing constructive feedback, and ensure alignment with production goals.

Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and quality across the team.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and required company standards.
  • Efficiently managing time and prioritising tasks.
