Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

  • Handling Cash counter
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Provide knowledgeable information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise effectively.
  • Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for cash handling.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.
  • Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear and helpful information.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly desirable.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
  • Excellent organisational abilities to maintain stock levels and store presentation.
