Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker qualified Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Family Assessment centre.

We will consider part time/job share role.

The ideal candidate will possess strong social work experience and be at least 3 years qualified with evidence of CPD, leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of working with vulnerable families. This role is pivotal in ensuring high standards of care for our residents, particularly those requiring support and intervention whilst remaining therapeutically focused.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of each resident family
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety within the facility.
  • Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee accuracy and safety for all residents.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence among residents.
  • Conduct regular parenting assessments to evaluate the quality of care provided and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive support for residents families
  • Manage staffing levels effectively to ensure adequate coverage while maintaining budgetary constraints.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a social work role with experience for undertaking parenting assessments an essential part of the role. Management training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong understanding of Family Court processes and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledgeable in undertaking supervision and providing advice and guidance for staff.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building relationships with residents and their families.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications (Level 5) would be advantageous but training will be provided
  • ParentAssess/CUBAS/PAMS qualified and experienced practitioners would be advantageous or willing to undertake training
  • Flexible working arrangements/Hybrid working
