Job summary

It is an exciting time for HM Land Registry (HMLR) as we continue on a major transformation programme. HMLR's ambition is to provide digital services, expertise and accessible property information that will unlock a better, faster, and less stressful property market.

As a Delivery & Performance Lead, you will provide visible and inclusive leadership to operational teams, empowering people to deliver excellent customer outcomes. Using performance insight and effective coaching, you will build capability, drive continuous improvement and translate strategic priorities into practical action.

Job description - Main Duties

  • Lead and develop high-performing operational teams, creating an inclusive culture where people can deliver their best work.
  • Coach and support leaders to build capability, strengthen performance and deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Drive operational performance, ensuring services meet business objectives, customer needs and service standards.
  • Use performance data, insight and customer feedback to identify opportunities, manage risks and improve outcomes.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities, embedding change and innovation to enhance productivity, quality and customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into effective operational delivery.

Please note this role requires a minimum of 4 days per week. Occasional travel to other HM Land Registry offices will be required, with overnight stays expected where appropriate.

HMLR expect everyone to spend at least 60% of their working time in the office.

Person specification

We are looking for inspiring and inclusive leaders with experience of delivering results through others in a complex operational environment. You'll have a proven ability to develop high-performing teams, use data and insight to drive performance, lead continuous improvement and successfully embed change. Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder skills, together with a focus on customer outcomes, will enable you to translate strategy into operational success.
