If you are looking to join our team of over 3000 employees across our 350 UK stores, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Swindon.

Our store is located within The Brunel Shopping Centre, part of the town centre retail area alongside a range of well-known retailers, cafés, and everyday services. The shopping centre is directly connected to the town centre and is close to both the bus station and Swindon railway station, making it a convenient location for shoppers and colleagues alike.

Swindon is one of the largest towns in the South West, with a well-established retail and business centre. Alongside its shopping facilities, the town offers a mix of leisure attractions, green spaces, and residential areas, with nearby destinations such as the Designer Outlet Swindon and STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway contributing to the area's appeal.

As an Assistant Store Manager we are looking for a well-rounded and commercial retail manager who is proactive in their approach and can work using their own initiative. Fashion retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in management or supervision within a retail outlet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager: Assist in the day-to-day running of the store ensuring costs are contained within targets.
  • Drive Sales: Help maximise store profitability by promoting sales and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
  • Team Development: Manage, coach and motivate the team to achieve targets and lead by example.
  • Deputise for the Manager: Step in when required to ensure smooth store operations.
