Full job description

Job Overview:

Full or Part-time Qualified Dental Nurse required to join our friendly Private Practice.

The ideal candidate will be confident, possess good organisation and communication skills. Flexibility and reliability are of high importance in order to join our well established team.

The role, as part of our nursing team, you will:

· Set-up and prepare the surgery and clinical areas each day

· Provide chair side assistance alongside the dentist, whilst ensuring high level of patient care and professionalism.

· Handling and sterilising instruments, equipment and following to HTM guidance and protocols

· Adhere to all practice policies and procedures and patient confidentiality

· Comply with all HTM-01-05, GDC and CQC requirements

· Undertake CPD in line with GDC guidelines

· Assist with reception and administration duties when required.

Work experience and skills and qualifications:

· A caring and sympathetic nature

· A smart appearance and professional attitude

· An ability to work under pressure in a busy team environment

· Qualification in Dental Nursing-NEBDN/NVQ3

· Dental Nurse Registration with the GDC

26-35.5 hours per week (will include 8.00am starts and 5.30pm finishes), Monday-Friday

Salary is negotiable depending on experience

Salary: £16,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
