Baby Art Studios is one of the UK’s leading maternity, newborn and baby photography brands. We create beautiful images and, more importantly, memorable experiences for families.

We’re looking for a Photographer & Studio Session Consultant to join our Kent studio.

The role is about much more than taking great photographs. You’ll be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every customer, from the moment they arrive through to their viewing and ordering session.

The Role

  • Photographing maternity, newborn and baby sessions
  • Creating a calm, warm and memorable experience for families
  • Confidently guiding customers through their session and ordering appointment
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Helping customers choose the products that are right for them
  • Representing the Baby Art Studios brand

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Loves people just as much as photography
  • Is confident, approachable and a great communicator
  • Is compassionate and able to connect with different people
  • Is comfortable taking control and making decisions independently
  • Remains calm and level-headed under pressure
  • Is reliable, proactive and willing to go the extra mile
  • Takes genuine pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Wants a long-term career rather than simply their next job

Previous photography experience is strongly preferred, ideally in newborn, baby, family or studio photography. You should have a good understanding of photography and confidence working with a camera. Full training will be provided on our studio processes, equipment and style of photography, but we’re keen to hear from candidates who can bring existing photography skills and experience to the team.

What We Offer

  • Permanent, part-time position
  • £28,000 FTE, pro-rata for 3 days
  • Saturday as one contracted working day, with flexibility around the other two days
