Location: Edinburgh and Lothians
Applicants must be qualified, RSPH level 2/equivalent, RSPH/BPCA Level 3 or higher.
We are urgently looking for individuals, who are based in the Edinburgh or surrounding areas, who are looking for a long term and rewarding career in pest managment.
Barricade Pest Control is a well-established and reputable family business based in Edinburgh, dedicated to providing safe and effective pest management solutions to our valued clients. Our comprehensive range of pest management services include rodent control, bird management, insect control and proofing services. We are a proud member of the BPCA (British Pest Control Association), and we adhere to their codes of conduct and best practices.
Through continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified/trainee pest management technician to join our team. This role would be ideal for someone looking to progress into managerial roles within pest management.

Requirements:
You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, excellent customer service, ability to show empathy to your customers, and enjoy meeting new people daily.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, trustworthy, organised, and takes pride in their work. Someone who is looking to progress within the pest control industry.
- Full drivers license required.
- Satisfactory enhanced disclosure required.
- All candidates must be UK based and have the right to work in the UK.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal..
- Live within a 40 mile radius of the area advertised..
- The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
- Be comfortable using mobile phone apps.
Job Overview:
- Dealing with domestic and commercial pest issues.
- Identifying and resolving pest issues.
- Problem solving.
- Ability to use IPM in every job.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to write reports and carrying out risk assessments.
- Travelling to different clients throughout Edinburgh and Lothians.
- In-house training or attending courses throughout the UK.
