We are seeking a Pest Control Manager whose experience, drive, and positive attitude will be instrumental in enhancing and growing our service delivery. Your role is crucial and pivotal in our operations, contributing directly to our success.

As a Pest Control Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Technician and Operations Planner. Together, you will ensure all works are completed to a high standard and actively seek opportunities to grow and generate new leads.

Operations Key Duties

· Oversee the daily running of operations.

· Ensure your team is productive, engaged, motivated, and supported.

· Oversee the workload to ensure operations are running effectively and KPI targets are met.

· Take responsibility for new contracts in your area from start to finish.

· Communicate with your team and encourage teamwork.

· Deal with queries and issues from your team, colleagues and customers.

· Regularly liaise with the Managing Director on your team’s performance.

· Ensure training, knowledge of procedures and work practices of all your team is maintained.

· Monitor and assess the quality of work of technicians.

· Ensure company core values are always upheld.

· Any other ad hoc duties as required by the business.

Business Development Key Duties

· Highlight business - prospects in a defined geographical area.

· Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.

· Generate leads and cold-call prospective customers.

· Meet with prospects face-to-face.

· Foster and develop relationships with prospects.

· Understand your customers' needs and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.

· Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.

· Create a sales pipeline



  • Full valid driving licence
  • Higher level Industry Qualification (BPCA Certificated Advanced Technician/RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management)


  • At least two years of Management Experience/ Qualification (Sales and industry-specific)
  • Good standard of written English and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work alone and have a flexible approach to manage their workload.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and forward-thinking
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet and exceed targets.
  • Excellent telephone manner for initiating contact and ongoing communication with customers and colleagues.
  • IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets.
  • Decision-making skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to analyse sales figures and write reports.
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.


  • The starting salary is £40k per annum, which can be enhanced with a company bonus and commission
