The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Pest Control Division, working across Kent and surrounding areas.

This is a rare opportunity to join a distinctive environmental services provider offering considerably more variety than a traditional pest control technician role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and managing an established portfolio of clients, alongside undertaking pest prevention, treatment and proofing works.

The role will involve identifying pest activity, implementing appropriate treatment programmes, providing practical recommendations to clients and ensuring all works are carried out safely, professionally and in accordance with company procedures and current health and safety requirements.

This is a hybrid and varied position where no two days are the same, offering exposure to a broad range of sites, customers and environmental service requirements.

Daily travel will be required, together with occasional overnight stays where operationally necessary.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing scheduled and reactive pest control visits across an existing portfolio, carrying out inspections, treatments and monitoring programmes, completing pest-proofing works and maintaining accurate service records.

You will also be expected to communicate professionally with customers, identify recurring or underlying pest issues, provide appropriate recommendations and recognise opportunities where additional services may benefit the client.

All work must be delivered to a consistently high standard with particular emphasis on customer service, compliance, health and safety and professional presentation.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have previous experience working as a pest control technician.

The successful candidate should have:

• RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management, BPCA Part 2 or equivalent qualification
• Ideally 2 years' pest control experience
• Strong practical knowledge of pest control treatments, monitoring and proofing
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to recognise additional business opportunities
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• A professional and well-presented approach
• Good punctuality and reliability
• The ability to use initiative and make practical decisions in the field
• Flexibility regarding working hours when required

Working Pattern

The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, day shifts, although some overtime and occasional weekend availability may be required depending on operational requirements.
