Job Type: Full Time (40 hours per week including breaks)

Salary: £28,000.00 - £32,000.00 - depending on experience

AAA Pest Control Ltd are currently looking to recruit for a customer facing Pest Control Technician to work around the North West area. Minimum of 4 years’ experience within this field is essential and ideally with Pest Control qualifications.

You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and local authority properties where you'll be visiting our customers across to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work when the opportunity arises.

Main duties

• The investigation and identification of pests
• Inspect customer premises and provide written reports on levels of pest infestation to determine the most effective solution to eradicate the pests
• Organise and undertake a programme of treatments using pesticides to control pests
• Record all visits to customers via our company reporting procedure
• Carrying out minor proofing to prevent any further pest infestations.
• Ensuring health and safety and company processes and procedures are adhered to.
• Speaking directly with customers and keeping them up to date with the work you are carrying out.
• Any other “ad hoc” duties as required by the needs of the business

Essential criteria

• Minimum 4 year’s pest control experience (including Bird Proofing experience)
• Recognised Pest Control qualifications
• Full Drivers Licence
• Good communication skills written and verbal
• Motivated with the ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
• Be capable at working on your own and part of a team.
• Be methodical and systematic in your approach to work
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be competent at prioritising and handling multiple sites and jobs.
• Supervision of team members

Preferred criteria

• Pest control experience and relevant Pest Control qualifications
• Previous experience within a Customer Service role ideal
• Able to commute within the Greater Manchester area
• Supervision of team members
