About Us
At Excel Environmental Services Ltd, we are a well-established pest control and hygiene company providing services across Scotland. With contracts spanning local authorities, commercial clients, and domestic customers, we pride ourselves on delivering high standards, compliance-led service, and excellent customer care.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Pest Control Technician to cover Edinburgh, Kelso, and Haddington and surrounding areas.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering pest control services across a varied client base, including commercial sites, residential properties, and public sector contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pest control inspections, treatments, and proofing works
- Identify pest activity and implement effective control measures
- Complete digital reports via mobile system
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide recommendations
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety and industry standards
- Manage your own daily schedule efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in pest control (preferred but not essential – training can be provided)
- BPCA/RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
