Test Valley Pest Control LTD are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pest Control Technician to join our expanding team.

This position is for someone living within the Winchester area.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A BPCA / RSPH LEVEL 2 QUALIFICATION / AWARD IN PEST MANAGEMENT. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT THIS.

Applicants must have a clean criminal record.

Test Valley Pest Control LTD look after an extensive portfolio of commercial, agricultural and commercial premises. The successful applicant will be working within all of these environments, providing customers with professional pest management solutions. Dealing with rodent, insect and bird pest species on their premises.

Customer interaction, positive approach and good problem-solving skills are vital for this role.

Thorough inspection skills are vital for this role.

We are looking for hard working and motivated individual who wants to be successful within the pest control industry and who has a great work ethic.

We will provide a company vehicle, uniform, mobile phone, communication tools, PPE and all associated costs for business use. In return we are looking for consistent attendance, a positive attitude, hard work and a wiliness to learn and develop your skills.

This is a permanent position working 40-45 hours per week Monday to Friday. Overtime is also readily available to technicians at weekends.

Applicants must be able to work on their own. As the majority of the time you will be working alone. However from time to time you may be required to work in a team, so team skills are also a vital requirement for this role.

Duties include:

Carrying out one-off pest control treatments.

Managing service contracts.

Carrying out routine visits / inspections on a wide range of premises for a wide range of clients.

Carrying out detailed site inspections.

Investigating and identifying pest species.

Carrying out effective pest control methods in order to successfully eradicate pest infestations.

Finding out how the pests are getting in to buildings and carrying out proofing work.

Providing clients with recommendations.

Verbally communicating your findings with clients.

Providing clients with detailed written reports.

Listening to the needs of our customers. Delivering results to satisfy their needs.

Skills/Qualifications

Full Clean Driving License.

BPCA / RSPH Level 2 qualification in Pest Management.

Applicants need to be physically fit and able to climb ladders.

Good verbal communication skills.

Good written communication skills.
