Full job description

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and customer-focused Pest Control Engineer to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pest control inspections, treatments and preventative measures across a variety of commercial and residential properties.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently and is looking for a stable, long-term position with a professional company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out pest control inspections and treatments
  • Identify pest activity, entry points and potential causes
  • Treat and manage common pests including rodents, insects and crawling pests
  • Install and maintain pest control monitoring equipment
  • Provide customers with practical prevention and hygiene advice
  • Complete site reports and treatment documentation accurately
  • Recommend follow-up visits and remedial works where required
  • Maintain stock, tools and equipment to a high standard
  • Manage your own daily workload and service appointments
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and relevant legislation

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within the pest control industry
  • Good knowledge of pest identification, treatment methods and prevention
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Professional and presentable manner
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Full UK driving licence

A recognised pest control qualification such as RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent would be highly desirable.
