Main purpose of the role:

To maintain and improve hygiene standards across all areas of the Silloth site ensuring high standards of food safety are achieved at all times.

The main duties of the role include:

• Carry out cleaning tasks in accordance with hygiene schedules and cleaning specifications
• Completion of associated hygiene records
• Safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals and pest control chemicals
• Minimise waste through careful control of spillages and rework
• Removal of waste and recycling
• Completion of food safety checks as required
• Assist in deep cleaning of production equipment
