Suddenstrike Limited is a family run business, founded in 1997, based in Nantwich, Cheshire.

We currently have a vacancy for a pest control technician to join our pest management team, to carry out pest management works throughout Cheshire and surrounding areas.

This position is long-term career opportunity, for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person and will involve resolving day to day pest management issues for residential and commercial clients. The ability to problem solve and make remedial recommendations where required in order to resolve customers issues is essential for the role.

Key Skills

• Full training available or experienced pest controllers also are welcome to apply.
• Excellent customer and communication skills.
• Minimum qualification requirement of BPCA/RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management.
• Experience in all aspects of pest management works including rodents, wasps, ants, flies, bedbugs, fleas, textile pests, stored product insects and bird proofing.
• Possess a good understanding of onsite health and safety, CSCS certification would be beneficial.
• Membership of a CPD scheme for the previous 3 years (BPCA Registered or BASIS Prompt).
• Confident in using IT, including a tablet based diary and job reporting system.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to work flexible hours when required.
• The successful candidate will be required to manage an existing client base whilst actively seeking out new customers.

• Up to £12 per hour depending on experience.
