Waste Management Operative / Driver

Location: Shepshed / LE11 / LE12 Loughborough
Salary: Approx. £29,764/year (£12.72/hr) + Bonuses
Hours: Full-Time, Monday – Friday (7:00 AM starts). Average 44–50 hours/week.
Contract: Minimum 160 guaranteed hours per month.

Essential Requirements (Please read before applying)

Due to insurance and operational needs, you must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Location: Based in LE11 or Shepshed with somewhere to park a 3.5-ton Luton van within walking distance.
• Driving Experience: Minimum 10 years of driving experience (for insurance purposes) with no more than 3 penalty points. Large van experience is desirable but not essential.
• Physical Fitness: Highly capable of physically demanding work, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Background: Able to pass a DBS check (we will provide this).
• Reliability: Exceptional punctuality, attendance, and timekeeping. This role suits those who want to put the hours in, rather than looking for early finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving to multiple domestic and commercial locations to collect furniture, general waste, garden waste, and clear fly-tipping (including house, office, and bin store clearances).
• Using our mobile app to take photos and complete job documentation.
• Providing polite, friendly, and high-quality customer service.
• Taking pride in your work, ensuring both you and your vehicle remain clean and tidy.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: £12.72 per hour, paid monthly.
• Bonus Scheme: £100 monthly bonus for the top four operatives, plus an extra £50 for the operative who collects the most customer reviews.
• Security: A guaranteed minimum 160-hour monthly contract, pension contributions, and full training/support.
