About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team and take ownership of marketing across two exciting brands: Cattle Country Farm Park and The Barn at Berkeley.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering campaigns, creating engaging content, managing our digital channels and designing marketing materials that inspire families to visit and couples to choose us for their wedding day. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll work closely with our management teams across both businesses, helping to grow brand awareness, increase visitor numbers, drive ticket sales and generate wedding bookings.

About Us

Since opening in 1992, Cattle Country Farm Park has grown into one of Gloucestershire's leading family attractions, welcoming over 130,000 visitors each year.

From indoor and outdoor play to farm animals, seasonal events, our Graze Café and retail offering, there's always something happening. Located on the same site is The Barn at Berkeley, our beautiful wedding and events venue. We're fortunate to have fantastic experiences happening every day—we're looking for someone who can transform those moments into engaging marketing campaigns that deliver real business results.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside the Managing Director and wider Management Team, you'll help develop and deliver the marketing strategy for both brands. Your responsibilities will include:

Marketing Campaigns

  • Planning and delivering campaigns throughout the year, from brand awareness activity to seasonal event launches and promotions
  • Supporting commercial objectives including visitor growth, ticket sales and wedding bookings
  • Monitoring campaign performance and recommending improvements based on results
  • Working with our digital marketing agency on paid campaigns

Content Creation

  • Creating engaging photography, video and written content across a range of platforms and capturing behind-the-scenes moments
  • Working with external photographers, videographers and creative suppliers where required

Website Management

  • Managing and updating our websites, keeping content fresh, accurate and optimised for customer experience and search performance

Social Media

  • Managing our social media channels, creating engaging content that grows our audiences and increases engagement
  • Working alongside the Farm Park Management Team to respond to customer enquiries and comments professionally and promptly

Email Marketing

  • Planning, designing and delivering email campaigns, building customer engagement through targeted communications
  • Monitoring campaign performance and using insights to improve future activity

Design

Creating a wide range of marketing materials including:

  • Digital screen content across site
  • Event promotional assets
  • Informational and safety signage
  • Print and digital marketing collateral

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines creativity with commercial awareness and enjoys seeing ideas turn into measurable results.

You'll have:

  • Previous B2C marketing experience within a customer-facing industry such as leisure, hospitality, retail, tourism, weddings or events
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations
  • A strong portfolio of photography, video and written content
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and growing engagement
  • Experience managing websites and email marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with the ability to create high-quality digital and print marketing materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confidence working independently while building strong relationships across the wider business
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to get involved across all aspects of the business with the flexibility to work additional hours when required

Please note: This role requires previous B2C marketing experience. Applicants whose experience is exclusively B2B marketing will not be considered, sorry
