Full job description

About the Company:

carloans 365 is a fast-growing, industry-leading car finance broker based in Sale, just 10 minutes from Manchester city centre.

Our mission is simple: to empower our customers by securing the best finance deals tailored to their needs, helping them drive away in their perfect car. With rapid growth and a reputation for delivering exceptional customer service, we pride ourselves on making car finance quick, easy, and hassle-free. Join us at carloans 365, where customer satisfaction drives our success.

Enough about us, what’s the role?

carloans365 is looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager to own our social channels day-to-day. This is a broad, creative role for someone who can both make content themselves and grow an engaged community around our brand – from planning and posting through to replying to comments and running influencer and partnership campaigns.

You’ll be working closely with the Head of Digital to shape how we show up across social. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants ownership, variety and the chance to build something.

Responsibilities:

Social channel management

  • Own and manage our social media channels day-to-day across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Plan, schedule and publish content in line with our marketing calendar and brand tone of voice
  • Keep on top of platform trends and formats, spotting opportunities to keep our content fresh and relevant

Content creation & editing

  • Create and edit content yourself – short-form video, graphics and copy – rather than only scheduling or briefing others
  • Shoot and produce content in and around the Sale office, and turn ideas around quickly to react to trends
  • Ensure everything is platform-native and consistent with our brand look and voice

Community management

  • Manage and respond to comments, messages and mentions across all channels, building genuine engagement with our audience
  • Foster and grow an active, positive community, and escalate issues or opportunities where needed
  • Feed audience insight and sentiment back into content and wider marketing plans

Influencer & partnership campaigns

  • Plan and manage influencer relationships and partnership / paid ad campaigns end to end – from outreach and briefing through to delivery and reporting
  • Manage budgets, timelines and deliverables, and build strong working relationships with creators and partners
  • Track performance and demonstrate the impact of campaigns on reach, engagement and results

Reporting & insight

  • Monitor performance across channels and report on key metrics, using data to refine and improve what we do

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • Channel experience: proven experience managing brand social channels across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Hands-on content skills: ability to create and edit your own content (video, graphics and copy), not just schedule it
  • Community management: experience managing and responding to comments and building engaged online communities
  • Campaign experience – experience managing influencers and/or partnership or paid ad campaigns
  • Location: commutable to our Sale, Manchester office; this is a hybrid role and you’ll need to be in regularly for content days

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with social scheduling, listening and analytics tools
  • Basic photography, videography or design software skills
  • Marketing agency experience

Details:

  • Base salary £30,000 - £38,000 DOE
  • Working pattern: Mon-Fri: 9am - 6pm
  • Location: This is a hybrid role based around our office in Sale, Manchester. You’ll have flexibility to work remotely, but must be commutable to the office and able to come in regularly for content days and team collaboration
  • 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + 1 additional day off for your birthday

Benefits:

  • A senior, high-impact role with real ownership and influence
  • Exceptional support and collaboration with a growing leadership team
  • A fast-growing business with long-term progression opportunities
  • Additional leave (Birthday off)
  • Company events and regular social activities
  • Employee Assistance Programme

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sale, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Social media management: 3 years (required)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sale (Greater Manchester)
