Full job description

Property Partner at Laurels - Start Your Career in the Property Industry Today!

Please only apply if you:

  • Have a proactive, “get up and go” attitude
  • Are self-motivated and driven
  • Have a strong personality and enjoy working with people
  • Willing to take up the self-employed challenge and lifestyle
  • Are prepared to work hard and want the opportunity to earn serious money

No experience? No problem. Experience in the property industry isn’t essential. We provide full training and ongoing support to help you become the best self-employed estate agent possible. What we can’t teach, however, are the personal qualities that make someone truly successful in this industry — things like personality, trustworthiness, and the ability to connect with people. You may have come across this opportunity because you’re tired of the typical 9–5 routine and limited earning potential. This self-employed estate agency role isn’t for someone looking for an easy ride. It’s for someone ambitious — the kind of person who is determined to build something for themselves and won’t stop until they’re earning hundreds of thousands each year. Success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, patience, and consistent hard work — but the rewards can be life-changing. Why Laurels? At Laurels, we offer market-leading training and support, with a team that’s available daily whenever you need guidance. Our goal is simple: we want you to succeed. Unlike many companies in the self-employed property sector, we welcome people with no prior experience and give them the opportunity to grow, earn more, and progress into leadership roles. This isn’t a typical self-employed role where you’re left to figure things out alone. At Laurels, you’re part of a supportive and ambitious team.

Our offering for a Partner Estate Agent with no experience:

  • 60:40 commission split (which is bumped up to 70% once your first £50k has been made)
  • A supportive team of partners helping you grow your area, plus guidance from your Senior Partner
  • 36 free professional photography appointments per year
  • Access to a genuinely excellent CRM system
  • A fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, progress in your career, and earn a great income!
  • Bespoke marketing materials
  • Monthly meet-ups with your regional team

Take Control of Your Career

Now is the time to take control of your future. Start now, and by this time next year you could have your business established and be earning serious money.

What can you expect from the role?

As a Laurels Partner, you will manage property sales from start to finish — from building your personal brand within your region, to handing over the keys on completion day. You’ll deliver a five-star service to every client while working with our expert marketing team to showcase homes through standout photography and high-quality marketing materials that help you stand out in your market. Building your name and reputation in your local area takes dedication. It can take up to six months to properly establish yourself, but if you put in the effort and do things the right way, you can quickly become the go-to agent in your area. Social media will play a key role in growing your personal brand. It’s not just about visibility — it’s about building trust and becoming a familiar face in your community. The goal is simple: when someone decides to sell their home, you’re the first person they think of. Whether you’re ready now or planning your great escape next year — we’d love to hear from you.

At Laurels, we do things differently. We’re looking for people who are:

  • Fun
  • Relatable
  • Trustworthy
  • Outgoing
  • Not afraid to stand out

If you’re looking for suits, silence, and corporate formality — we’re probably not the right fit. But if you want energy, ambition, and a slightly quirky (in a good way) team, then welcome.

Let’s build something brilliant together.

Please note : We currently have three different self-employed roles available at Laurels. The commission split depends on your level of experience, with higher splits offered for more experienced candidates. If you feel you may be too experienced for this particular role, please still apply and we can discuss the most suitable opportunity when we get in touch.
