Full job description

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Employment Type: Part-time (3-4 days)

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Role Overview:

We are seeking a part time Marketing Content Creator to build the content engine to drive sales for our ecommerce gifts & homeware brand.

You be responsible as our main creative and hands-on producer. You will work closely with marketing to plan the content calendar and create high-performing digital assets and short-form video for social media, ads and affiliate channels as well as manage the seasonal Gift Guide print projects.

This hybrid part-time role is based from our Cheltenham office (2 days) with flexibility on days. You will be working within the wider marketing team and alongside a junior photographer. The opportunity for line management responsibilities can be considered according to experience.

We are Outdoor365 Limited, an ecommerce retail company with 6 online stores and a physical store and £10 million annual turnover. Our largest brand is Farrar & Tanner and where this role will mainly be focused. Farrar & Tanner is a premium online retailer specialising in personalised gifts and homeware. We have been growing steadily and are looking for a someone to help further grow the brand through creating effective marketing content.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Creative & Campaign Planning

  • Direction: Define and maintain our visual brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring our homeware and gift collections look aspirational and cohesive
  • Brochures & Catalogues: Lead the creative brief, layout, and visual storytelling for seasonal print brochures.
  • Shoot Production: Plan, style and execute product shoots for print brochures with junior photographer.

Content Creation & Execution

  • Short-Form Video: Script, film, and edit engaging Reels and TikToks showcasing product styling, gifting ideas, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Digital Design: Create effective promotional graphics, email layouts and web banners with clear marketing message and call to action.
  • Affiliate & Influencer Kits: Build ready-to-use asset bundles and style guides for influencer and affiliate partners.

Planning & Optimisation

  • Content Calendar: Build and manage a multi-channel content plan aligned with marketing and key retail gifting dates (e.g., Christmas, Mother’s Day, wedding season).
  • Data Review: Track asset performance and adapt, optimise product styling, and increase e-commerce conversion rates.

This role would suit someone with:

  • 2 years experience in marketing or social content creation, ideally within ecommerce, homeware, interiors, or gifting sectors.
  • Confident filming on a mobile and have videography and editing skills. Product photography would be a big plus.
  • Good understanding of marketing principles and what makes effective content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro/After Effects) or Canva.
  • Awareness of social trends and formats, applying them appropriately to the brand
  • Excellent project management skills to balance long-lead print brochure deadlines with quick-turnaround assets
  • Drivers licence to travel to occasional shoot locations
  • Proactive, creative mindset and team player
