Full job description

Manchester Full‑time Starting salary £32,000 + Bonus / Incentives

We are looking for a new Social Media Manager & Content Creator

HDG Business Group operates six hospitality venues across Manchester — including To Be Frank NQ and HAUS — with plans to expand further. Alongside our venues, we’re launching a new alcohol brand this summer, entering the aperitif category with a fresh, modern identity.

This role sits across both sides of the business: the established, high‑footfall venues we already operate, and the fast‑moving, creative world of our startup drinks brand.

You’ll be responsible for social media, content creation, storytelling, influencer activity, and brand presence across all channels. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be creating content daily, shaping how our brands show up online, and helping build momentum behind our new product launch.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing social media for all six HDG venues — daily content, scheduling, community management, and platform growth.
  • Creating photo and video content across all venues and brand channels.
  • Leading social media and content output for our startup alcohol brand — launch content, storytelling, brand personality, and ongoing growth.
  • Producing strong visual assets (graphic design skills preferred, but not advanced).
  • Running influencer campaigns that fit our brand and drive real engagement.
  • Working with photographers, videographers, and creators to produce standout content.
  • Supporting brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity across venues and the drinks brand.
  • Planning and delivering social‑led campaigns that drive footfall, bookings, and brand awareness.
  • Tracking performance, reporting on growth, and making data‑led decisions.
  • Ensuring all content is consistent, on‑brand, and aligned with our wider business goals.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in hospitality social media (bars, restaurants, nightlife, events, or drinks brands).
  • Strong content creation skills — photo, video, editing, and basic graphic design.
  • Proven experience running multi‑channel social campaigns end‑to‑end.
  • Confidence in shaping brand personality and visual identity.
  • Experience managing influencers and creators.
  • Someone who works quickly, independently, and commercially — no corporate layers here.
  • A creator who understands culture, trends, and how to make brands feel alive.
  • Comfortable working across multiple venues and a new product launch simultaneously.

Why join HDG

HDG is a growing hospitality group with a clear identity, strong venues, and a new drinks brand ready to launch. You’ll have freedom, ownership, and the chance to build something with real personality — not a corporate marketing job, but a role where your ideas actually get used.

You’ll be part of an independent business with a family feel, high ambitions, and a rare opportunity to work across both established venues and a startup alcohol brand.
