Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic self-employed Photobooth Operator to join our growing photobooth hire company. This is a fun, flexible, part-time role, mainly working weekends with occasional weekday events.

You’ll be responsible for transporting, setting up, operating, and packing down our photobooths at a wide range of events — from large public events such as cricket matches to private celebrations like weddings and birthday parties. If you enjoy meeting people, working at lively events, and are comfortable with basic technology, this role is perfect for you.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Transport photobooth equipment to and from event venues
  • Set up and pack down photobooth equipment efficiently and safely
  • Operate the photobooth during events and assist guests when needed
  • Ensure the photobooth runs smoothly throughout the event
  • Provide a friendly, professional, and fun experience for guests
  • Handle basic troubleshooting of cameras, computers, and printers
  • Represent the company positively at all events
  • Follow company guidelines and event schedules

Requirements

  • Self-employed status
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Own car, minimum size equivalent to a Ford Fiesta
  • Available to work weekends and occasional weekdays
  • Comfortable lifting and transporting equipment
  • Basic knowledge of cameras and computers
  • Confident interacting with the public
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working at events or customer-facing roles
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills
  • A positive, outgoing personality
