You will work within our creative team and report into the Photography and Studio Manager. You will collaborate closely with teams across Retail, eCommerce, Marketing and Commercial to deliver engaging video and motion content that brings the Oak Furnitureland brand to life across multiple channels.
This role is based at our Bristol studio with some opportunity to work from home on non filming days.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role focused on creating compelling digital-first content. You will play a key part in developing and managing motion and video assets, from in-showroom screens to social media campaigns (paid and organic).
This role would suit a designer with strong motion and video editing skills, an eye for storytelling, and an understanding of how content performs across digital platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration are essential, as you will work with a close-knit creative team and multiple departments across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining consistency of the Oak Furnitureland brand across all motion and video content
Working with the photography team to translate briefs into compelling motion-led creative campaigns
Shooting, editing and managing assets for in-showroom video content, ensuring high-quality delivery across retail environments
Filming Oak Furnitureland products and creating engaging video content for social media platforms, including both paid and organic posts
Collaborating with eCommerce and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with brand standards, campaign objectives and platform best practices
Supporting wider business needs with digital assets such as animated graphics, video banners, event visuals and promotional content
Keeping up to date with emerging social trends and digital formats to help evolve Oak Furnitureland’s content approach
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in videography, editing and digital content creation is essential
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience creating social-first content, with an understanding of paid vs organic creative requirements
Confident filming and editing product-based content, with attention to lighting, composition and storytelling
Strong skills in branding, typography, layout and visual design principles
Familiarity with mobile-first and digital platform best practices (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Creative flair and meticulous attention to detail
Able to use initiative and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
The role will require you to attend location shoots for new product ranges a few times a year, where you may need to stay overnight.
Benefits:
Employee discount: amazing discounts available on all Oak Furnitureland products after successful completion of probation
Life assurance: free cover of a minimum of two times your annual salary up to the age of 65
25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
Birthday: an additional day off for you to celebrate your birthday
Hybrid working
Pension: 4% employee contribution matched by the company
