Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated local Plumber/Gas engineer to join our small team covering the Fylde Coast. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems aswell as gas boiler servicing. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities. This role involves repairing, and maintaining plumbing & heating systems in residential settings.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain central heating systems, pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment, including boiler servicing, taps, toilets, showers & radiators.
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks or malfunctions.
  • Assemble and install plumbing systems according to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various environments.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.

Skills

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
  • Must be able to diagnose, service and install gas appliances.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
  • Capability to plumb various systems efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
