Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bathroom Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures and fittings in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, with the ability to work efficiently and safely in a variety of environments. Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of heavy lifting, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Install new bathroom fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and cabinets in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Repair or replace existing fixtures and fittings as required.
  • Measure spaces accurately to ensure proper fitting of components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools to complete installations.
  • Conduct plumbing work such as connecting water supply lines and drainage systems.
  • Carry out carpentry tasks related to bathroom fitting including cutting and assembling materials.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area during and after each job.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
  • Strong plumbing skills with experience in pipe fitting and water supply systems.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and fitting timber components.
  • Mechanical knowledge relevant to bathroom fixtures and fittings.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling materials or equipment.
  • Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for transporting materials or equipment between sites.
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
