Full job description

Location: Princess Yachts, Plymouth, PL7 4NW

Pay: £15,916.38/year

Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Variable hours between 0700-1400


We’re looking for a Food Service Assistant to join our team to help create a welcoming space for our customers. If you love working with people and want a role that offers flexibility, training, and career growth, this could be the perfect fit.

What you’ll do:

  • Operate the till, handle payments, and manage customer transactions efficiently.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Restock supplies such as cups, milk, pastries, and coffee beans.
  • Support the team during busy periods, ensuring smooth workflow and quick service.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stock checks, and equipment shutdown.
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to a high standard, including espresso based drinks.
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers warmly and taking orders accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, seating area, and equipment throughout the shift.


What we’re looking for:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate with teams and individuals.

Must be able to drive and have vehicle as will be required to work 5 sites under the Princess Yachts Contract – Lee Mill, Langage, Coypool, Newport Street and SouthYard
