Job Overview

Belvoir Castle is launching an excting new Wellness & Fitness Studio at the Belvoir Retail Village and is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Wellness Studio Manager to lead its development and ongoing programme.

This is a unique opportunity to establish and grow a premium wellness offering within one of the UK's most iconic estate destinations. The Wellness Studio Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering an engaging programme of wellness activities, building strong relationships with practitioners and therapists, managing the day-to-day operation of the studio, and delivering yoga and/or Pilates classes throughout the week. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the vision, reputation and commercial success of the Wellness Studio, creating an exceptional visitor experience while fostering a welcoming and inclusive wellness community.

Responsibilities

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about health and wellbeing to lead a vibrant studio community while honing their management expertise.

Studio Development and Management

· Lead the setup, launch and ongoing operation of the Wellness Studio.

· Develop and implement a strategic vision for the studio's growth and success.

· Manage the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

· Monitor studio performance, attendance levels and customer feedback.

· Ensure compliance with all health, safety and operational standards.

Programme Development

· Design and manage a diverse schedule of classes, workshops, retreats and wellness events.

· Identify opportunities to introduce new services and experiences aligned with market trends and customer demand.

· Coordinate seasonal programming and special events.

Practitioner and Therapist Management

· Source, recruit and onboard high-quality yoga teachers, therapists and wellness practitioners.

· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external practitioners.

· Manage practitioner schedules and studio bookings.

· Ensure all practitioners operate in line with Belvoir Castle standards and values.

Yoga/Pilates Instruction

· Deliver regular yoga or Pilates classes throughout the week.

· Develop engaging class formats suitable for a range of abilities and experience levels.

· Create a welcoming and supportive environment for participants.

Marketing and Community Engagement

· Work collaboratively with the Belvoir Castle and Engine Yard teams to promote the Wellness Studio.

· Support marketing campaigns, events and social media activity.

· Build partnerships within the local community and wider wellness sector.

· Help establish the studio as a leading wellness destination in the region.

Financial and Commercial Performance

· Support budgeting and revenue generation initiatives.

· Monitor class attendance and service performance.

· Identify opportunities to increase participation, membership and customer retention.

· Contribute to the commercial success and sustainability of the studio.

Other Responsibilities

· Carry out any other reasonable duties required by management to support the smooth operation of the business.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
