JOB TITLE : Restaurant, Bar & Lawn Operations Manager

LOCATION: Marlow

TYPE: Full-Time | Permanent

Pay: £38,000.00 - £40,000 per year Plus additional Service Charge up to £4,000

Reports to: F&B/Operations/General Manager

Role Purpose

To lead the day-to-day operation of the Restaurant, Bar and Lawn Bar & Terrace, delivering exceptional guest experiences while achieving revenue, service and profitability targets. The role is responsible for leading the team, maintaining high operational standards and ensuring excellent food and beverage service across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of the Restaurant, Bar and Lawn Bar.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas and labour costs.
  • Drive food and beverage sales through upselling and promotions.
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering and stock control.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and other departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and Licensing regulations.
  • Support weddings, private events and seasonal outdoor operations.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous management experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and control costs.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
