Job Overview:

We are a small company with a beautifully fitted out cosy venue which is thriving in the village of Crondall (just outside of Farnham, It's great rural pub serving exquisite wines, crisp beers and enlivening spirits and restaurant of just 26 covers with a freshly prepared from scratch al a carte menu.

We are seeking a charming, lively, charismatic, fun but overall hard working Deputy Manager to join us and deal with the day to day management of the team. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. If you have a strong background in hospitality, food production, and leadership, we encourage you to apply.

This isn't a role where you'll be left to simply "manage shifts". You'll work closely with the owner to help lead the business day to day, develop the team and continually improve what we do. It's an opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step in their hospitality career and be part of building something special.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the team and setting the standard on every shift.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Supporting recruitment, training and staff development.
  • Managing stock, ordering and GP.
  • Helping drive sales and profitability.
  • Maintaining exceptional food, drink and service standards.
  • Ensuring compliance, health & safety and licensing requirements are met.
  • Taking ownership of the operation whenever required.
