We’re currently hiring for a Full-Time Receptionist at our Middlesbrough Depot. This is a key position where you will be the first point of contact for our customers and visitors. You will take ownership to ensure all customers and visitors are welcomed into our business, telephones are answered in a professional manner, whilst providing great customer service in everything you do.

What will you be doing as a Receptionist?

  • Meet and greet all customers and visitors
  • Answer and direct telephone calls via a switchboard
  • Ensuring all visitors sign in
  • Taking responsibility for the reception area; this includes maintaining housekeeping standards
  • Receiving and directing mail
  • Maintaining customer records
  • Register new customers
  • Processing customer returns and credit notes
  • Ad-hoc administration
  • Supporting other departments as required
  • Answering Customer Queries

What do you need to be a Receptionist?

  • Polite and friendly both over the phone and face to face
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
  • Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management as you will be working at speed
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure

  • Contract Type: Full-Time – 40 hours per week:
  • Monday- Friday: 08:30am-17:00pm
