Hours: Monday - Friday, 4:00am - 2:00pm **Due to start times and location, your own transport would be required**

Hourly Rate: £13.45

Job Description:

Apollo Recruit are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Waste Loader. In this role, you will be responsible for loading the dustcart of a mix of refuse and recycling bin collected from designated routes. This is a physical role that requires walking an average of 5-10 miles daily, depending on the assigned route.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading recyclable materials onto the dustcart lorry efficiently and safely.
  • Following designated routes and schedules for waste collection.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assisting the driver with navigation and route optimization when necessary.
  • Accessible on public transport

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable with working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk long distances daily.
  • Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess safety boots and hi-vis clothing.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
