Role
We are seeking skilled and reliable Painters & Decorators to join our Insurance Team. You will be responsible for completing a variety of decorating works to a professional standard, helping restore homes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating.
  • Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, priming, and undercoating.
  • Apply paint finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
  • Hang wallpaper and apply wall coverings where required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.

Core Trade Skills

  • Painting (emulsion, gloss, satin, undercoats, primers).
  • Surface preparation (filling, sanding, caulking, patch repairs).
  • Wallpapering (basic hanging and removal).
  • Decorative finishes and touch-ups.
  • Woodwork and metalwork painting.

Professional Standards

  • Deliver a tidy, respectful service in occupied homes.
  • Work safely and in line with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Record work completed (photos, notes, job sheets).
  • Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and office staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (required).
