Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Removals Driver / Porter to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely driving our removals vehicles between collection and delivery locations, while also working alongside the removals team to load and unload furniture and personal belongings.

This is a hands-on role, so you will be expected to get involved with the physical side of removals and work as part of a team to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties

  • safely load and unload household items onto lorries, including other vehicles, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage during transit.
  • assist with packing and unpacking belongings, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • communicate with clients to confirm and address any special requirements.
  • assist with warehouse organisation and inventory management if/as needed.
  • must be punctual and able to follow instructions
  • drive carefully

Experience

  • strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • experience handling household good or working in a removals environment is beneficial but not essential. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of physical labour, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth operations during house removals.
  • Drivers License
