Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Support other kitchen staff in their duties as required, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
