We have exciting opportunities to join our residential team working in a rewarding role supporting children and young people with disabilities who reside in the home full time.

The role of a residential worker is to ensure the delivery of a high-quality residential service for disabled children within the overall policy of the Department (as defined by the National Care Standards Commission- minimum standards for Children’s Homes).

The home aims to do this by creating a warm, fun, caring home environment. Ensuring children’s voices, opinions and feelings are heard and advocating for the children we care for. The home provides care for up to 3 children at a time with varied needs. Each child is supported as an individual. Their needs and strengths are considered by the staff team who tailor their support and care to each child.

The position requires the ability to work shifts, including being on shift on weekends (fortnightly), bank holidays and evening working.

The home is currently located in Hengrove but will be moving to its new location in 2027 in Henbury.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.

Please ensure you read the person specification and write your application to meet this to be able to be shortlisted.
