Overview
Join our vibrant culinary team as a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef specialising in New York-style hand-stretched pizza. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in food preparation and cooking who can create high-quality pizzas that delight our customers. This exciting role offers a chance to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, along with a commitment to food safety and excellent meal preparation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough making, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, ideally within a restaurant or pizzeria setting
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and meal preparation
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Previous experience serving customers or working in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential
  • Enthusiasm for creating delicious food and delivering excellent service to guests

Pay: £7.00-£14.00 per hour
