Full job description

At The Lambton Worm we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated Chef to join our friendly team!

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations of the restaurant
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Train and supervise kitchen staff members
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Skills:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
