We are looking for Chefs of all levels to join us here in Durham, an exciting opportunity to join a brand new venue in the city center. Whether you're starting your culinary journey or bringing seasoned experience, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, work alongside talented chefs, and contribute to memorable dining experiences. Paid positions are available for all levels of experience, from entry-level to more advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking fresh, high quality dishes to a consistently high standard
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health and safety practices
• Working efficiently as part of a fast-paced kitchen team
• Supporting the development of new dishes and seasonal menus
• Helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Contributing to a positive tam culture where everyone can thrive

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is highly desirable
• Strong interest in culinary arts with a willingness to learn and develop skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Previous restaurant experience or serving background is a plus but not essential
• A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality food

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
