We’re a passionate, family-owned smokehouse doing things the proper way: real fire, real smoke, no shortcuts. Authentic low-and-slow BBQ with Southern spirit — and we’re becoming known for international-level BBQ too. Help us build the future of real UK BBQ.

This is a genuine career role in a business that’s scaling — events, a food truck, nationwide deliveries. The ceiling is high for the right person.

Salary £14-£16 per hour/£34,000-£36,000

You have over two years’ hospitality experience, a solid understanding of due diligence, basic kitchen operational checks, and strong allergen awareness.

What you’ll do

  • Own opens and closes to the schedule with pride and consistency
  • Lead and support the team so everyone delivers the Henry’s experience
  • Take a lead role in events management and Christmas coordination
  • Have real input into our social media content and presence
  • Take ownership of guest reviews — responding thoughtfully and using feedback to keep raising the bar
  • Drive drinks sales by creating a great bar experience, recommending cocktails, craft beers and American classics, and helping the team upsell naturally
  • Help look after the venue day-to-day and handle issues calmly and proactively
  • Support kitchen operational checks and maintain high standards around allergens and due diligence
  • Be the positive, welcoming face that keeps guests coming back
