Full job description

VEHICLE LOADER – AFTERNOON SHIFT

Working Hours: 15:30 – 01:00

Some flexibility is required as start and finish times may change depending on business requirements.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Loading 3.5t vans, 7.5t, 12t and 18t vehicles with processed clean laundry ready for the following day's deliveries.
  • Checking all stock is loaded correctly against the daily work sheet for each route.
  • Ensuring vehicles are loaded safely, correctly and in delivery order.
  • Working efficiently as part of the Transport team and independently when required.
  • Following all company procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Keeping the loading area clean, tidy and safe.
  • Covering van delivery routes as and when required, once full training has been completed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Good level of physical fitness as the role involves manual handling and loading.
  • Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility with working hours and prepared to work additional hours during busy periods.
  • Previous van driving or loading experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
