Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our team, working during daytime hours. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts and food service, looking to contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal planning and portion control to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Ensure all food is stored appropriately and waste is minimised
  • Support the team during busy periods, ensuring timely service to customers
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients
  • Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
