Overview

We are seeking General Manager at the The Bridgewater Arms. As the ‘face’ of the Pub you will run key shifts on a regular business and will be accountable for all aspects of the business. You will share best practice processes with colleagues, embracing and delivering operational, system and technical change with passion and confidence. You will be an inspiring role model and leader to the team, demonstrating positive engagement, motivation and influence to provide the best guest service whilst developing the team and yourself.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all day to day aspects of the business, including

  • Rotas and payroll budget management
  • Management of all aspects of the P&L and EBITDA
  • Training the team across all aspects of the business
  • Leading legal compliance across all parts of the business
  • Creation and implementation of marketing plans to grow sales
  • Reporting business health to Senior Management and the business owners on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Hotel and Restaurant Management experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is essential.

Salary dependant on experience.
