Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of supervising teams and ensuring organisational efficiency. The successful applicant will be instrumental in driving business growth, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the organisation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Supervise and motivate management teams to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, merchandising plans, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance management, and organisational development initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service through staff training and quality assurance programmes.
  • Manage administrative functions including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with company policies.
  • Foster a positive organisational culture centred on teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilise strong organisational skills to coordinate schedules, inventory control, and operational workflows.
  • Ensure effective communication across all departments through excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform decision-making processes for business growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within hospitality and supervising experience is essential.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Exceptional time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in team management roles with a focus on motivating staff towards shared objectives.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a professional demeanour.
  • Organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
